The Richland High School graduation committee, comprised of teachers, students, parents, and administrators are planning a virtual graduation.

The video will consist of:

1.      General James Mattis – speech/recognition of graduates enlisted in the military

2.     Senior class officers – welcome

3.     Senior choir – Anthem

4.     Senior valedictorians/salutatorian – speeches

5.     Principal Tim Praino

6.     Superintendent Dr. Rick Schulte

7.     Graduate pictures

a.     If your student has not submitted a senior picture, please contact Toree Markussen at toree.markussen@rsd.edu.

b.     The second photo will be taken at RHS on May 27th, anytime between 10:00 A.M. and 2:00 P.M.  A PSA for this event has been posted on all Bomber social media and the RHS website.

·      Prior to May 27th, students are to pick up their caps/gowns at the Fran Rish parking lot on May 26th.  Directions for this event have been posted on all Bomber social media and the RHS website.  It is suggested that students go home and steam their gowns prior to the picture on the 27th

·      Also, if you did not purchase a cap/gown and still want to have your photo taken on the 27th, please contact Cathleen McCary at cathleen.mccary@rsd.edu

·      It’s important to note that social distancing rules are in place for the 26th and the 27th and there will be adult supervision at both events.  Students arriving together in cars will be asked to leave and can return once they are following the guidelines.

c.     To be clear:  we are aspiring to include two photos of each graduate in the video.  The two photos are their senior photo and the “graduation” photo being taken on May 27th at RHS.

8.     Credits – What would normally be the graduation program will be scrolled as the credits at the end of the graduation video.
