Advanced Placement
Advanced Placement (AP) classes offer students challenging coursework that prepares them for success in their post-secondary education and, ultimately, future careers and endeavors. AP provides numerous benefits to students, including earning college credit, adding an impressive accomplishment to their college admission applications and getting a jumpstart on a future college major.
AP courses are taught by highly-qualified high school teachers using materials and curricula provided by The College Board. Students take AP Exams each spring in a given course to determine proficiency.
